Lottery drawings & extra drawing
The drawings are conducted according to strict security guidelines and procedures. During each lottery drawing, a lottery draw manager and a representative from an independent auditing firm must be present. These two individuals must arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the actual drawing in order to go through the checklist and verify all aspects of each drawing. The lottery draw manager is an employee of FWNK and is appointed and certified as a special agent (certified law enforcement officer).
Lottery scams
Every day, criminals find new ways to scam victims and steal from the winners.
FWNK offers the following helpful tips to avoid being scammed:
- Always buy lottery tickets only from authorized vendors.
- Only participate in a “lottery pool” with people you trust.
- Never redeem a lottery ticket for someone you don’t know.
